It is helpful for committee members to have knowledge in areas such as painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. The committee also needs volunteers to help mow grass and rake leaves. Committee members are selected for their knowledge and skills related to the trades, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. • Ss. Cyril and Methodius: The Buildings and Grounds Committee makes sure parish facilities and landscaping are kept in good condition. They identify and recommend projects to the Finance Council. Most projects are contracted to professionals, although committee members may complete some of the smaller projects themselves. It is important for committee members to be interested in maintenance.
